What's Covered

Your Gloworm G2.1 Light Heads, G2.1 Batteries and CX Self-Contained Lights are covered for 24 months, while all accessories are covered for 12 months for manufacturing defects and workmanship issues. G2.0 & G1.0 Light Heads also have 24 months cover, while G1.0 and G2.0 batteries have 12 months from date of purchase.

This warranty doesn’t apply to:

  1. Impact or extreme condition damage – Products damaged by impacts or conditions beyond their design specifications
  2. Improper use – Products not used according to provided instructions
  3. Third-party equipment issues – Products used with non-Gloworm equipment or parts
  4. Unauthorised repairs – Products repaired or disassembled by non-Gloworm representatives for warranty-covered issues
  5. Modifications – Products that have been altered, modified, or used in conversions or custom configurations
  6. Misuse or neglect – Products that have been neglected, poorly maintained, used commercially, misused, abused, or damaged in accidents. Regular product inspection for maintenance needs is your responsibility
  7. Freight damage – Damage during transport (claim directly with the courier)
  8. Used products – Products purchased second-hand or without original packaging
  9. Improper assembly – Damage from incorrect assembly, repair, incompatible parts, or failure to follow warnings and instructions. Warranty is void if original decals are removed or finish is modified
  10. Non-authorised dealers – Products purchased from, adjusted, or assembled by non-Gloworm dealers
  11. Cosmetic wear – Surface finish deterioration or aesthetic damage
  12. Installation costs – Labour for removing, refitting, or readjusting warranty items
  13. Return freight – Costs for returning non-warranty products
  14. Normal wear – Components showing wear based on usage patterns, even within the warranty period, including products reaching normal life expectancy
  15. Unauthorised distribution – Products from unauthorised channels

How We Fix It If your product has a warranty issue, we’ll repair or replace it at our discretion and return it to you at no charge for parts or service.

Getting Warranty Service Make warranty claims through the Gloworm retailer where you purchased the product. Gloworm isn’t responsible for products lost or damaged during freight to us.

Our Assessment Process We’ll inspect your returned product to determine warranty cover. Only Gloworm determines if a product qualifies for warranty service. Non-warranty repairs incur all replacement, repair, labour, and freight costs. We decide final freight charges for replacement products. When exchanging products, the replacement becomes yours and the returned item becomes ours.

Important Limitation This warranty doesn’t cover or reimburse incidental or consequential damages.

Shipping and Delivery

G2.0 Lightsets - Included Accessories

To ensure our customers continue to receive the best possible value when purchasing a Gloworm G2.0 lightset and to reduce unnecessary waste, as of April 2025 we have updated the accessories included with a new G2.0 light.

Due to the prevalence of fast chargers in today’s homes, we will no longer include a Gloworm Fast Charger with a new light. The following accessories will also need to be purchased separately if required…

  • Bar mount if Adventure model lightset.
  • Helmet mount if non-Adventure lightset
  • Spare optics
  • USB adaptors
